Supporting climate finance mobilisation and green economy transitions through project design, business development, and fundable climate initiative structuring.
I work at the intersection of climate finance, policy implementation, and investment readiness. My focus is on how climate capital moves, where it stalls, and what institutions can do to improve deployment outcomes.
Profile
Based in Nairobi, I bring experience across banking, investment, enterprise development, ESG and E&S integration, governance, and climate finance analysis.
My work supports institutions that need clearer intelligence, practical implementation tools, and stronger pathways from climate ambition to financing.
Many climate finance challenges are treated as capital shortages. Yet capital often stalls because institutions still face uncertainty around policy interpretation, risk assessment, borrower readiness, evidence requirements, and project structure.
My work focuses on making those conditions visible so banks, development partners, programmes, and project teams can make better decisions before capital is committed.
These focus areas connect my analysis, advisory work, current projects, and published insights.
Tracking climate capital flows, policy signals, financial intermediation, and deployment friction across East Africa.
Translating climate finance, taxonomy, climate-risk, and E&S requirements into practical tools, workflows, evidence systems, and decision-support processes.
Supporting climate-linked enterprises, programmes, and project teams to strengthen investment readiness, funding pathways, and capital access.
My experience spans banking operations, internal audit, private equity portfolio oversight, ESG integration, enterprise development, programme design, proposal development, and board-level governance.
Through board service, including leadership of finance, development, audit, and risk committees, I have contributed to institutional oversight, governance, strategic decision-making, and organizational accountability.
This gives my climate finance work a practical lens: I do not only ask whether capital exists. I ask whether institutions, instruments, borrowers, and evidence systems are ready for that capital to move.
These engagements reflect my current and selected work across climate finance analysis, business development, enterprise support, and multi-partner advisory spaces.
